WALT: write an explanation

Do you trust well known businesses well Ergobaby is one of the companies that have been effected by someone breaking the Consumer guarantees act. We have the Consumer Guarantees Act because it helps consumers by not getting ripped off. It helps the people a lot because when someone gets something faulty they  use the Consumers Guarantees act. The carrier was not fit for the process because the buckle was only going to hold a little bit of weight the baby would be in danger. For example they might fall out maybe even get hurt last but not least die. She has the right to send
it back because it was faulty. The lady has been tricked she has been lied to badly and she won't be happy about it. The Consumers Guarantees Acts  that was broken is that the Consumers have the right to expect that the good they purchase  will be safe to use. Also Consumers have the Right to expect not to be mislead or deceived (tricked or lied to) about the goods or services they are buying when you are buying anything make sure its the real one not the fake.

Home work challenge

                                              Homework challenge C6

For this challenge we had to organize a collection of old toys and clothes for charity. And deliver it to city mission.Here are some photos. 

     Theses are my toys I donated 

    This is me with my this at the city mission because I took some thing Mum said she would like to donate some of her old pots and cooking things. 

    When we got there I was really nervous but the people looked happy to see what I had to donate. I hope that someone would like to take my stuff home to play with and I think that it's nice to know that people that don't have much money can go and buy things that they need. 

 And that was my homework challenge. The end

WALT: Write a recount

                                                     Stan Walker's concert 

Today's the day, I jumped out of  bed and said to myself  " I'm going to Stan Walker's concert". Mum told me to be quiet. I sad "NO". 

Later on that day we went out about 8:30pm to pick up Nan then went to the CBS Canterbury arena.

When we got inside and got a drink, I got nothing, well I got a water. When we sat down i saw a big crowd of people. "MUM its Moor House!" can I get a photo? Mum said  fi" YES. Come on mum, we have to get back to our seats." after we got the photo it was 9:00 PM, time for it a to began. We got two little surprises Whenua Patuwai and Cassie Henderson.

Well ,this concert was different to what I have heard. Stan Walker said that he heard of a girl that was getting bullied on the Internet so he made a song about bullies. I LOVED to night. By the time it was finished it was nearly midnight. When I got home I said to myself I have school tomorrow oh no.

When we had seen the concert and it was finished I saw the boys from  Moor house and got a photo taken again but it was worth it because I LOVE Moor house. When we did the photo they did the poat and after they gave me a hug. It was the "best day ever" but I wish it was Stan Wakker who gave me the photo.

Homework Challenge C4

I did the 40 hour famine it was great fun I did 40 hours of no teachnoloy  I got 11 sponsors and ended up raising 129 dollars her are some photos of me with no teachnoloy.

We did the 40 hour famine for the people of Malawi. The people over their don't have the food they need to eat this is what it looks like 

15 Million people in Malawi and 4.5 million in New Zealand and that is why I did the 40 hour famine.

Making choices

WALT: identify what goes In a good information report

Choices are much more difficult then people think Friends,Family,Role models and media are just some of the things that influences our choices 

Family are one of the influences on the choices we make. They influence our choices because if you get asked to go some and you have a family day out planned you won't be able to go to their house. For example I get asked to go to my friends house to watch a movie but we have to go away to the Hospital to see my nana so you have to say no. Because your family has influenced you.Family are not the only influence friends are an influence too. Friends influence you because they might be smoking and they say to you HEY ! Do you want a smoke.You should say no and walk away.But if you say yes you might get caught.So u don't want to smoke like they do.If you do what they do you may get really big consequences you might even get cancer. Role models like Stan Walker might smoke would you well I wouldn't even though He is my role models but if he made a good choice like not smoking he would be a good role model then I would do what he dose from now on.So do what your role models do( if they are good ones) Media influences us because they tell us things that might not be true because they could get the wrong information and you might end up doing the wrong thing. Make sure you're listening really well because they might or might not say something true.

There are a lot more influences Family,friends,role models and meida are just some of the influences.So the choice is yours
